The Naples Area Board Of Realtors reports that the sale of homes in November fell for the fifth straight month. November 2010 sales of single family homes and condominiums totaled 468, a drop of 14 per cent from the November 2009 total of 547. Of the November 2010 total sales, 225 were single family homes and 243 were condos. November’s median sales price was $169,000.00 which compares to $175,000.00 one year ago. November’s sales numbers were affected by a freeze in foreclosure actions instituted by several major banks in October in response to questions about the validity of paperwork and files used in court cases. Several of the banks involved, including Bank Of America have since resumed foreclosure filings and sales. To see the full report, go to www.NaplesArea.com.
