Statistics released by the Naples Area Board Of Realtors (NABOR) show home sales increased in the Naples area (excluding Marco Island) in the month of March. There were 936 home and condominiums sold in March, up 5% from the 890 sales recorded during the same month in 2010. The median price continued to fall during the third month of the year to $170,000. February’s Naples area sales of 595 properties broke a seven month string of declining sales year over year. The available inventory of homes for sale in the Naples market is dropping. There were 8,762 active listings in the first three months of 2011, down from 9,557 in the first quarter of 2010.
