Florida Realtors, the sunshine state’s umbrella for local Realtor organizations, reports that the sale of homes dropped during October in Lee County.

There were 938 closed sales last month, a 6% drop from the 1,002 sold in October 2010.

The median price for homes sold in Lee County increased year over year by 15% to $102,100 from $89,100 in the same period twelve months ago.

The numbers were reversed statewide last month. Sales increased to 13,755 from October 2010’s 12,145. Median price decreased 4% to $131,500 from $136,600.
