Tuscany Reserve, an upscale community East Of Livingston Rd. between Immokalee Rd. and Bonita Beach Rd. in North Naples, has been renamed Talis Park.

The dormant 450 acre development was purchased by Palm Beach Gardens based Kitson & Partners in early 2011 for $31 million. Originally conceived in 2003 by local builder WCI Communities, the Italian inspired community fell on hard times during the housing crash. Bahrain based Addax Bank purchased the property in 2008 for $65 million.

Kitson & Partners have big plans for the community beginning next month when ground will be broken on a new country club featuring a spa, racquet club, fitness center and cafe. Talis Park already features an 18 hole Norman & Dye golf course. Only 30 homes were built during the time WCI owned the community. Kitson & Partners plan a final buildout of 585 homes ranging in size from 2,200 to 3,800 square feet with pricing from $700,000 to $2 million. Homes will also not be confined to just Italian inspired architecture. Builders will also offer Spanish, Carribean and Mediterranean style homes.

Best known for its Babcock Ranch development, Kitson & Partners has developed and managed several large-scale master planned communities in Florida and the Northeast United States. Founded in 1992, Kitson & Partners owns 21,000 entitled residential units, 6.2 million square feet of commercial entitlements and 1.6 million square feet of existing retail shopping centers in Florida.
