Naples area home sales continued on a brisk pace in May with closed sales totalling 973. This statistic and others are part of the Naples Area Board Of Realtors (NABOR) May report which showed total sales one year ago of 890 properties.

Out of last month’s closed sales, 505 were condominiums with a median sale price of $200,000. 468 homes sold for a median price of $255,000. The median price for all closed sales in May was $225,000, up from $210,000 in the same month one year earlier. 

The inventory of available homes and condominiums for sale in the Naples area continued to fall ending May at 6,679 properties, down almost 14% year over year. There were 7,705 homes and condominiums listed for sale in the Naples area at the end of May 2011.

The average number of days it takes to sell a home increased slightly from 180 to 190 over the past 12 months.
