Naples area home sales slowed during the month of July to 564 total closed sales compared with 605 during the same month in 2011.

Median price in the Naples market continues to climb and is up 9% year over year from $175,000 to $190,000 today. The inventory of available homes and condos for sale now stands at a seven year low of 6,188 which is a 12% drop in the past twelve months. The inventory of single family homes has dropped 14% in the past year and there are 2,889 actively being marketed in the Naples area. It now takes an average of 176 days to sell a home, which is 3 days longer then it took during July 2011.
