NABOR-logoSales of homes and condominiums in the Naples area continued at a brisk pace in June with 836 properties changing hands. This is down slightly from the same month one year ago when there were 869 closed sales.

This information is included in the June market report issued by the Naples Area Board Of Realtors (NABOR).

There were 375 single family home sales closed last month compared to 425 in June 2012. Condominium sales increased in June to 461 from 444 twelve months earlier.

The median price (the point at which half the sales were above and half were below) increased to $265,000, a significant increase from $220,000 recorded last year at this time. The current median price for a home in the Naples area is $330,000, an $82,000 increase from June of 2012. The median price for a condominium stands at $217,000 compared to $182,000 one year ago.

The average time it takes to sell a home in the Naples area has fallen 10% in the past year to 163 days. The total inventory of homes and condominiums available for sale is 5,282, down significantly from 6,310 just 12 months ago.
