Lennar  Lennar has announced plans to build a new community in Bonita Springs.

Bonita National Golf & Country Club will be located at three miles east of I-75 at 17001 Bonita Beach Road.

The 500 acre community will feature a variety of single- and multifamily residential options that are expected to range in price from the high-$100,000s to more than $600,000. Included in the build-out will be three types of multifamily units, including coach homes and two different condominium styles. The Miami based builder will also offer estate, executive and manor homes for single-family units. All homes will include crown molding, designer window coverings, marble window sills, nickel satin-finish hardware and Mohawk flooring.

The development will be centered on an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Gordon Lewis, who has designed more than 40 golf courses around the world, including the courses at Heritage Bay Golf and Country Club in Naples and Heritage Palms Golf and Country Club in Fort Myers. Bonita National Golf and Country Club will have a clubhouse, activity center, tennis, state-of-the-art fitness center and a resort-style pool to go along with 200 acres of lakes, a conservation area and walking trails.

Lennar will have the official opening for the community on April 19th with presales of luxury homes and an open house scheduled for April 17.
