NABOR-logoThe median price for a home (closed sales of both homes and condominiums) in Naples and surrounding Collier County (with the exception of Marco Island) rose 13% in the past 12 months to finish 2014 at $270,000, up from $240,000 one year earlier. This statistic and others are part of a year-end report released by the Naples Area Board Of Realtors (NABOR).

2014’s 13% increase in median price comes on the heels of 2013’s 18% increase and 2013’s 17% rise in home prices. To put this into perspective, all criteria being equal, a home that would have sold for $250,000 just three years ago would now bring $323,349.

The median price for a Naples area condominium finished last year up 10% to $219,000, an increase from $200,000 in 2013. The median closed sale price for a home is now $349,000, up 22% from $286,000 one year earlier.

The total number of closed sales in 2014, both homes and condos, in the Naples area totaled 9,826, which is a slight increase from the 9,723 properties sold one year earlier.

There are currently 4,351 available homes and condominiums listed for sale in Naples and surrounding Collier County.
