NABOR-logoComing just one month after Hurricane Irma’s impact on Southwest Florida, the Naples Area Board Of Realtors (NABOR) October sales report shows a steady market with total closed sales up 1% compared to the same month one year ago.

There were 561 total closed sales last month, up 1% from October 2016. This breaks down to 301 single family home sales, up 2% from 295 during the 10th month of 2016 and 260 condominium sales, which is almost even with 261 condominium sales one year ago.

The median closed price for a single family home last month in the Naples area was $425,000, up 13% year over year from $375,000 in October 2016. The median closed price for a condo in October was $250,000, up 4% from $240,000 twelve months earlier.

The total number of homes and condominiums currently available in the Naples area stands at 5,010, down 8% from 5,426 one year ago and certainly related to damage experienced during Hurricane Irma.

It currently takes 104 days from listing to sell a home, up 22% from 85 days during the same month last year.
