The median price of homes sold in Lee County in April increased 17% from the previous month according to statistics released by Florida Realtors. April’s median sale price of $118,900 was the highest recorded in Lee County in over two years. The median price for homes sold in March was $101,900. The statitistics are compiled from sales by members of  the Realtors Association Of Ft. Myers & The Beach. A slow down in the foreclosure pipeline has resulted in fewer distressed properties available to home buyers and an increase in sales of higher priced homes. Lee County’s median price peaked at $322,300 in December 2005.
